What this platform is
Fikrago Help Me is a noticeboard. People write down what they need or hope for. Other people read it and decide, entirely on their own, whether to help. That is the whole product.
We do not verify anyone
We do not check identities. We do not confirm that a story is true, that a person exists as described, that a need is real, or that money sent will be used as stated. There is no verification badge here and there never will be, because a badge we cannot honestly back up is worse than none at all.
We never process payments between users
Every request shows the poster's own PayPal link. When you help someone, the money goes directly from you to them, outside this platform. We never receive it, hold it, route it, or refund it. We cannot reverse a payment, because we were never part of it.
No fee, no commission, ever
We take nothing from user-to-user help. Not a percentage, not a processing charge, not a "suggested tip". If you send someone $50, they receive whatever PayPal gives them, and we receive nothing.
Platform donations are separate
There is one donation button labelled "Support Fikrago Help Me". It funds the site itself and is not attached to any individual request. Money given there does not reach anyone posting here, and posting here does not entitle anyone to it.
We hold no liability once two people connect
The moment you leave this site to contact, check, or pay another user, you are dealing with them directly and at your own risk. We are not a party to that relationship. We are not liable for loss, fraud, misrepresentation, non-delivery, harassment, or any dispute arising from it. Any help you give is a gift, not a purchase or an investment, and you should treat it as money you are willing not to see again.
Reporting is moderation, not verification
Every post has a Report button. Reports go to a human who may hide a post that appears fraudulent, abusive, spammy, or off-topic. Hiding a post is not a ruling on truth, and leaving a post up is not an endorsement of it.
Your responsibility as a poster
Post honestly. Do not misrepresent your situation, impersonate anyone, or post on someone else's behalf without their knowledge. Anything you write is public. If you post anonymously your name is hidden, but your social handle still shows — that is deliberate, because people need something to check.
Before you give
Read the request carefully. Look at their handle and their history. Ask them a question. Then decide with your own judgement and give only what you would not miss. Sincerity of intention is yours to carry; the outcome is not something anyone here can guarantee.
