Staying safe when you help someone here

We verify nothing. Here is how to check for yourself before you send anything.

Because we verify nobody, the checking is yours to do. A few habits that help: - Open the person's social profile. Is it old? Does it have real activity and real people around it? - Ask questions before you give. A sincere person will answer. - Start small if you are unsure. There is no obligation to cover a whole amount. - Be careful with anything pushing urgency hard. Real urgency exists, but so does pressure. - Never send login details, card numbers, or codes. Helping means sending money through the person's own link, nothing else. If a post looks dishonest, use the Report button on it. Reports go to a human review queue. Review means a post may be hidden or removed — it does not mean the remaining posts are approved or verified. Nothing here is ever verified. And a word about giving itself: give what you can spare, quietly, with a clear intention. If you are wrong about someone, the intention is still yours.
